Founded in 2007

Organon Trustees was founded by Adrian McKinnell and Marc Gwynne in 2007. Having been Directors of a long standing Pensioneer Trustee Company both saw a niche for providing highly qualified pensions knowledge combined with a bespoke service offering value for money.

First Class Service

Organon is now a well-established player in the self-invested pensions sector but retains an absolute commitment to providing a first class, professional but personal service in contrast to the often bureaucratic “call centre” approach adopted by many larger providers.

Organon is very much an owner managed business and the founding Directors enjoy a completely hands on approach, taking an active role in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the business.

Organon Trustees are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Key Contacts

Marc founded Organon Trustees along with fellow Director, Adrian McKinnell in 2007 following a long and varied career in pensions and financial services. Whilst Marc’s Senior Management responsibilities include Compliance Oversight and Money Laundering, he remains actively involved in day-to-day client activities, including new business development, key account management and complex case work. Marc is an Associate of the Chartered Bankers Institute and holds the Diploma in Financial Planning.

Marc Gwynne



Adrian founded Organon Trustees along with fellow Director, Marc Gwynne in 2007 following a varied career in pensions management. Adrian takes responsibility for the operational management of the business including oversight of Organon’s Pension and Property Teams, new business development and key account management. Adrian is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute and holds the Diploma in Financial Planning.

Lenka joined Organon in 2012 and, following several promotions, joined the Board as Business Support Director in February 2021. Lenka takes responsibility for the financial management of the business, IT development and human resources. In addition, Lenka oversees the day-to-day work of Organon’s Accounts Team, including management of client banking arrangements, pension payroll and regulatory reporting.

Mike joined Organon in 2016 having spent 8 years with a leading UK SIPP Provider and now manages the day-to-day operations of Organon’s Pensions Team. Mike acts as a key contact for members and advisers, providing guidance and support on all aspects of SIPP and SSAS administration, including the establishment of new pension arrangements, the processing of investments transactions and benefit calculations, illustrations and payments.

Colin joined Organon in 2018 following a number of years as a Property Team Leader with a leading UK SIPP Provider. In his role as Property Consultant, Colin concentrates on new purchase transactions, guiding members and advisers through the technical and practical aspects of SIPP/SSAS ownership from initial discussions around feasibility and funding to the legal aspects of the conveyance process.

Shane joined Organon in 2020 having built up extensive commercial property knowledge and experience with a leading UK SIPP Provider. In his role as Property Consultant, Shane concentrates on ongoing property management issues, including rent reviews, lease renewals, property audits and general compliance. Shane acts as principal contact for members and advisers with any queries relating to the existing property portfolio.
